I just downgraded to a HP OfficeJet 6500. Just wanted to be able to scan , print send a fax or two.
Printed off some shots for the heck of it and WOW.
The black and whites are gorgeous, the colour shots are brilliant and come out true to what I have on my computer and web.
So for $129 this printer rocks better than what I had I am seriously impressed |

| are you using some special photo ink? i have the same printer and i don't really like it for photos. i might be doing something wrong. |

| No I just stuck the cartridges from the box in. Honest to goodness the prints are great and this was set on normal mode not fine quality or anything like that. I am truly shocked at how well they have come out |
