How? I cant find it on the dropdown menu when doing save as. Anyone?

Using what software/version?
If you have layers or channels not supported by the JPEG format, the option won't be available or grayed-out. Try using Save-As-Copy and see if it's there. |

Photoshop CS. There are no layers, only the background/original layer.

If it says "Layer" and is in italics, try using "Flatten Image" and see if it changes to straight "Background" -- still the Save-As-Copy should deal with that.
Do you have a selection saved? That would make an alpha channel (OK in TIFF but not JPEG)? Are you working in some odd color space? Those are the only reasons I can think of for not being able to save a valid TIFF image as JPEG. |
