Seems like the voting and commenting are unusually slow on the Calendar challenge. I've NEVER gone this long without a single comment on a high-scoring photo. I expected this for the OFS, but I received comments right away on that one in a 488-entry challenge. Calendar had a fairly low number of entries, but doesn't seem to be generating much interest. Anybody else seeing this?

yup ... except for the "high scoring" part :)

5.85 at the moment ... patiently awaiting my steep ascent into 6 :)

This is my first time submitting to a challenge, and I very anxious for comments. My score is pretty low, but I expected because I am still learning. I was wonder if it usually takes this long for comments.

38 votes, 50 views, 5.3947, and 0 comments. But I don't think this is unusual, the chalenge only started this morning.

Not usually. I can't even remember the last time I went to sleep without a comment. I still don't have one, but I'm sitting at 6.3.

Brad, can't you forget to take off your lens cap or accidentally set the ISO to 1600- just once? ;-P

ROFLMAO !

Wish I had ISO1600, or better yet, could use something over ISO80. (The E-10's noise is bad at 160, and absolutely horrible at 320)

Lens cap? Let me see if I still have one... LOL

Good- ISO320 will be fine. Please remember to switch your ISO back if we have a Grain challenge. Thank you for your cooperation. ;-)

Yay! I just received my first comment. I am simply astounded that it took so long.

Just got my first as well. Maybe the remaining voters will vote above a 4.

I'm destined for a life of sucking at taking photos. Oh well -- at least with all the comments I know what to work on. To be honest, I didn't like the shot much I shouldn't have submitted it in the first place, but was hoping for some comments. We shall see.

Bah! I'll bet you could still get at least a 5 without even entering.

1. Have patience.
2. Take photos that PROVOKE comments (preferably good ones).

Those two are really hard to do ;-) have any easier advice to follow? :-)
