The Update button seems to me to be a two-edged sword. Its addictive and you can see when those 1, 2, or 3 votes are cast. I want to turn it off but I can’t, I need it [uggggggggâ€Â¦pulling my hair out].
Anyone else feel the same way?

I feel your pain Scott, just became a member and 'wow what's this UPDATE BUTTON for, what does it do..', now I'm addicted. I keep hitting it all the time and it's all good, next thing you know someone give you a low score, no comment and I cringe. ARGHHHHHHH.
But I still love it! It's that Love and Hate Relationship, can't live without it now.
Enjoy the Button... ;-)
Wow, what's this.... a Six ... Sweet.

Not a paid member...but I am wondering if you can view the score breakdown as it is being voted - ie how many 1's, 2's etc? Or only the avg. scoring?
Is that maybe a paid member perk? |

I know 'the button' is great until you see [and this just happened] three updates in a row; in this order a 4,3, and 2 vote. And its on a picture that is at a 6+ score. They are not adjusted votes they are new votes. NOT complaining just makes me cringe when the update is a low vote and makes me smile when they are high votes.

You only know the average vote and then some high school math to figure out the last vote |

Yes, i keep a graph with excel. The one below is from the 'School Days Challenge'. It was before I became a member so the chart is based on avg's.

I suggested showing the breakdown during voting a few days ago. I would also like the updates to be in a small floating window (console). :-)

Ed Clarke (e301) bravely turns his off for the week. I have tried it when I know my images aren't contenders, and it's a release. However, I've submitted shots this week (and for Implied Lines) which I thought would do much better and it's become a masochistic quest to update my plummeting tally on a regular basis.
Now it's got to me and something's gonna blow - f*****g twatty button!!! :D
