this can be rather interesting www.globexplorer.com. you plug in your address, and it shows you a satellite photo of your home (well, maybe, depending on how new your home is...).
if anybody knows of similar sites, could you post them here? |

the data here is kind of random as far as when the image was captured.

It's the world. Just don't put in your postcode and it works.

I've always liked //www.upmystreet.co.uk for postcode based info like aerial views, etc. |
