Using PSP8 and came across the "Pencil" feature. Wondering if the image looks to gimicky?

| I don't think the effect adds to this particular image. I believe it would work well on an image that had a bit more "space" in it. I'm imagining it would work well on someting like a close up portrait or a shot where the main subject is well defined from the background. |

I find that it makes a very nice image, but in my opinion it is no longer a photograph. Not trying to start the whole digital art/photography debate though.
If you mean to gimicky for a challenge, I'm pretty sure you'd be voted down for an entry like that.

Thanks for the response. Just getting to know my post-shot editing prog and kinda wanted to know where this effect could work.
