To whom it may concern,
Thank you for taking the time to vote on my photo, it seems that you have found a degree of error in my image that you saw fit to give it the lowest mark possible. Clearly you have observed such faults in this image that must have completely escaped me, therefore I request that if it's not too much trouble could you please leave a comment such that I may learn from my failings, those of which you have been able to identify, in order to produce more appealing images in the future.
Thanks again for your troubles.

When you wake up in the morning, expect this thread to have 10,000 replies telling you to stop being so whiny ;)
of course, you worded it differently than I did in *my* thread. LOL

I have this thought for a few hours now, and really wanted to share it, but thought it would be rude to say it on ahy threads.
Now since this one looks quite private (the two dueling ones only) I decided I'd give it a try:
I WANNA GO HOME !!!
IS IT WEEKEND YET?!?!

H,
I I try and give no less than 4 or 5's 3s if I dont feel the entry meets the challenge or its just not quite good enough technically, but a photo that I think fits or is artisically met,or I think is ok or better I give 5 + I love to give 7 and higher, a good photo for me would get a 5 nothing really merrits a one not really maybe the 1 - 10 voting wording should be changed? eg a 10 should be excellent not good! that way the average votes 4-5 ish are in my book good photographs. Maybe an example of words against 1-10 on the voting scales to help those who do not know the difference between an ok photograph and an excellent one! Who are the experts that give out 1's anyhow?? Perhaps people voting 1's should have to justify those votes ie they cant vote a 1 on the system without leaving a messge could that be done?

Have in mind that you can't know for sure what the last vote was, unless it was the first vote on that photo.
Someone could have voted 6 and someone else that had already voted changed his vote from 10 to 5 at the same time.
Anything is possible...

I've found a new good way to vote.
I vote the first image I see 1, the next one 2, the next one 3... and so on. It's very fast and funny when suddenly a very good picture get 1 and a bad picture gets 10.
You should try it is so funny. |
