i just took a picture and started playing with curves in photoshop and for the final touch i went to filters>stylize>find edges and this is the result.

I like it quite a bit and this sort of image can be used if you're learning to sketch as well. Anything that defines lines like that is helpful...really cool effect, looks great as a stand-alone image as well.

I just dig it.

this is my first attempt at posting an image in the forums..hopefully it shows up. anyway this is me trying it out. its not as good as yours but its a nice effect. thnks Discraft.
