Have you ever stoped to think abou this?!?
Last night i was confronted with a though, which was; what if dpchallenge ends! and my second though was END OF THE WORLD!

Not its not really the update button but the photos and the threads!

I'm sure that if DPC were to go offline permanently, odds are that someone will knock up a very similar new site - there's enough web admins & coders hanging around on DPC that could do so, after all... Plus the DPC Fanatics chatroom will always continue, since it's independent ;o)

Manic, is it possible to access the chatroom via an IRC client? I have to be honest I'm no fan of web based chatroom interfaces. |

Nope, sorry. The chatroom was specifically chosen to be html-based, so that those in workplaces where IRC etc was blocked could still access it. I personally am quite happy with text-only MUD-like chats, but I'm not in the majority :o)

Prolly something like if the Boston Red Sox won the World Series... Ain't never gonna... oh wait.. they did win didn't they?
Guess if DPC ended, it'd suck!

I was hoping that you may have been using an IRC server and also providing a HTML front end thus getting the best of both worlds, ah well it's an excellent service none the less - thanks :)

There is a theory which states that if anyone discovers just exactly what dpchallenge is for and why we are here, that it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. Then there is a theory which states that this has already happened.

| my friend said that i am wierd and the people on this website are like an obsessed camera cult. i tried to explain it but there was no use...she just didnt get it. |

| If DPC ended I might get my house cleaned up again! And the clothes folded and put away. And my sweet husband would probably have home-cooked meals again. But I'm sure I'd go through a period of withdrawal before all that took place. And I haven't been hooked nearly as long as some of you! |
