Really nice lighting on all the pics. Your model seems really comfortable too. I think I like the b&w the most. Nice stuff. |

Beautiful... I love what you're doing with the lights.
... and I'm really jealous of your studio lights - but keep it up, I think this is a great way to learn lighting techniques.

Great Stuff.
It's really neat to seeing your progress in learning studio lighting, from your home made halogen and coathanger self portraits to these.
Out of curiosity, what are you using as a backdrop, and how far behind the model is it positioned?

that is 150 dollar 10 by 24 foot wescott jet black muslin..:)
model was standing about 5 foot in front of the backdrop. i like to blend the model in with the background. i like that:)

These are, once again, sensational. I just love the lighting, and she is a supberb model!
Is there any chance, as I am trying to build myself a home studio, you could snal a photo sometime of your basic studio setup here?

well here is the link to the lighting i got.
photoflex 2 soft box kit
it is about 1100 dollars.. well worth your money..
i have halogen work lights at home.. but not very happy with them ever since i touched these babies:)

Arrr, it works really well... I've got a large bit of sorta-black canvas, but it shows too much texture if you get any light spill on it.
