Can you tell me how I load photos into threads. Do you need to be a member to be able to do this?
I wanted to load a photo into a thread on negatives but could not work out how you did this, as the options seemed to only refer to //www etc!
Any help appreciated.

You need to sign up to a image host and upload your pictures from there, the one I use is ImageHost It cost nothing to use or signup

I have my own website with an area for photos. Could I use that?

yeh you should be able to - whats the address of the website? and I tell you how to link to it

Ok this is how you do it

a) right click on the picture you wish to link to and select properties
b) Copy Address {URL}
eg - //www.google.com.au/intl/en_au/images/logo.gif

select insert image or insert Hyperlink and paste the copied address into the box - Enter the full URL for your link -

EXAMPLE

HyperLink
Google

Picture


Picture Link


Press Quote to obtain code required to do the task

My site is www.gallery.wobble.info and I've just tried it. It does work but how does the link from the thumbnail to the main photo work?
Would it be simpler to use something like ImageHost?

Using the second to last icon above the posting text box is the easiest way to enter a link. When requested for text put img tags around the link to the thumbnail. This makes the thumbnail clickable to your larger image.

Using that code (without spaces) - place the website url within the url tag [url=web address] and where u wish to place the picture link place it with in the img tag [img]image address[/img]

Try ImageShack! It's soooooo awesome. You don't have to sign up, just upload the image, they assign you a URL, and ba-da-bing! you're done. It's super sweet.
