Ha Ha, the frog is not dead but he was playing dead and I don't remember ever seeing a frog do that. Thought it was pretty cool.

Took this photo last night, I was on the comp editing some photos. my son kept saying "mom i want the frog" I kept saying "there is no frog"

this probably went on for a good 5 minutes before finally i got up frustrated, and was like "OK Show me the frog!" To my suprise, yes there was a frog in my kitchen. What I learned, I need to start listening to my 2 yr old.

Actually, a toad, and I have seen them do this as well! It's pretty darn funny when they do it.

Search the web for the keywords "tonic immobility". It's a response to a predator. Ever see anyong hypnotize a chicken, or an alligator. Bingo.

I used to employ this trick in the local pub. Ironically it was called "Gin and Tonic immobility" and was used to ward of predacious women. The more I think about it...only thing it got me was a hangover and cigarette burns on my forehead.

Oh well.
