well, i got a new camera last night. i went outside to try and find some implied lines, but to no avail. anyways i shot some weeds instead.i get a much better macro than my old camera, im loving it.
in this shot it is my son blowing on a dandelion, any suggestions on getting a action macro in focus.

The first shot is great. Not as a test image for a new camera, but in itself. Also like the fork, but not as much. |

I don't know of any setting for an action Macro. But then, I am not familiar with your new camera, there may well be one. Best look thru the manual.
Can't suggest anything other than that, sorry! |

CRAP, I submitted a post and it didn't go through. I hate it when that happens. Well, here it is again:
The camera will not be able to focus while the dandelion is moving. You need to let the camera focus on the dandelion BEFORE you start to blow it. Do this by holding down the shutter button half-way. Then have your son blow it while you still have the button half-way.
Another way is to put the camera in manual mode and measure the distance to the dandelion. Then input this distance into the camera. That's how I do a lot of my macro shots. If you want to stop the motion blur, you need a higher shutter speed, and/or a faster aperture.

well i believe i have depleted my dandelion source for the day, i even checked the neighbors yards.

From me, just one word -- WOW!!!!!!! I sure wish buying a new camera did that much for me! Seriously, you have obviously been studying up and it shows. Great shots. I left you comments.
