I was under the impression that there was a Canon 28-350 f2.8L lens, but I don't see that anywhere on the Canon lens pages. Has anyone heard of this, or is the 35-350 f3.5-5.6L the only thing close to that range?

theres a dicontinued 35-350 thats replaced with the new 28-300.

There is no f/2.8 at such a range. The 28-300 mentioned is also a 3.5-5.6.
