While driving back home from the farmers market, i noticed a soccer game at the university, but it was pouring.. So i get home and eat, then looking outside, i notice the sun peeking out, so i grab my camera and go back to the game. The grass was soaked, which was great for the pictures :)

Those shots are just amazing. The colors came out great and you caught a lot of excellent action, but all that water makes these shots look just incredible. The next time my daughter goes out for a soccer game, I'm going to hose down the field first. :-)

Great job!

They look great! Nice action, and the water splashing around is a nice touch.

On the downside, they seem overly contrasty to me. Do you have your contrast and saturation set to + in camera, or did you punch it up on post processing? Just curious--great shots overall.

I added some slight contrast afterwords since out of the camera they're a bit flat. Though i noticed most pics i looked at to be contrasty till i calibrated my monitor.. now i can see all the tones..
