What is netsys.exe and why is it slowing down my computer?

shut it off and if your computer stops working turn it back on.

Travis is right, try renaming it as well. You may want to google it but I think its some kind of keystroke logger/hijacker. IMHO its nots good to have!

Have you tried a Google search on netsys.exe? It appears to be related to the websiteviewer dialer, a Trojan Horse type program.

I recommend downloading and installing both AdAware and Spybot - Search and Destroy. Run them both, then reboot your computer into safe mode and run them both again.

Finally I would recommend downloading and installing the Firefox web browser and using that in place of Internet Explorer. It is much less prone to the types of vulnerabilities that allow these programs to be downloaded and installed behind your back, and therefore will reduce the likelihood of you having these problems in the future.
