an artistic rendition, but you have to be a technition to get it as well. David Bailey would be the best example I know, He knows what every lens at any apature and distance will do with whatever film or digital medium he works with and he's dyslectic into the bargain. What a genius the man is.

I guess for me I believe in what my Father told me..
"You can't juggle balls, 'til you've learnt to catch".

The technical shots are (IMHO)a must! Once you fine tune the techy bits you can then fine tune the artistic photo's.

So you can't have one without the other...and maybe this will make for better photography.

Well...that's my 2cents spent for the day....
