Honestly, I rarely have time to work hard enough to create a ribbon-winner. My goal is to have an interesting interpretation and see if others agree with me. If it was a "real job" I'd take more time and not have a one-week limit, so if the idea is interesting, I figure I'll recreate it if it really seems worthwhile.
I've probably had about 3-5 photos I legitimately felt were possibly ribbon-worthy, although the voters largely disagreed. |

Hey, today's the 1-year anniversary of the first challenge I entered (don't know if that's closing date or opening, but same difference).
I have been in 34 challenges over the year. I prefer topics that are more open, or technique based, because I just don't have the imagination some of you do (like scalvert, ericlimon, and graphicfunk, to name a few!) for the topical ones! I think I used to, but I must have used it up ;-) |
