//www.lastolite.com/ under "backround" and then "collapsible"

I am thinking of getting one of these since I don´t have a studio. Right now I am mostly using a combination of available light, bounced 550ex and a 420ex as a slave and of course I am going to get something better but right now the backround is the most important thing.

The question is how do you suspend this, just from nails in the cealing or? I want a way to take it with me, make it very portable but the local camera shop doesn´t have anything that will work, that is suspend it from at least 2 meters height (7 feet for you not using the metric system)

Also if anyone has any experience with these backrounds I would be glad if you shared it.

use a light stand (or two) to support it on location. Make sure to weight the base of the light stands down with a weight to make it more stable. You can use spring loaded clips from Home Depot to attach it. Light stands are cheaper that tripods to give you an idea of cost.

Allright, sounds easy enough. Any particular light stand I should get for this or just one that reaches high enough? Also what kind of weight, just put stones in a plastic bag or...?

Weight and sand bags
Though a lot of creativity can be applied here to use something cheaper.

A lot of people like the 'air cushioned' stands. It just keeps the stand from collapsing quickly if you accidently loosen a collar or the slips through your grip and you are putting it away. Helpful when protecting expensive studio flash heads.

Thanx Jason for your help. Anyone else got some input?
