Today's Photos (Critique Please...)

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical DF for Canon

Took about an hour today and visited two of the local historical parks to take some photos. Please let me know specifically what you like and what you don't like.

They are all nice! Just a couple of critiques...1, 2, and 5 just seem a bit too centered and static. Just a little different crop would improved them greatly. I REALLY like the last one with the canon, but again, I think that if you croped a bit ore at the bottom and showed more sky and less grass would definately make it pop! Nice shots though!

BTW you have a great portfolio! And this is just my opinion, but with even more sky??? Then again.....I don't usually envision photos the same way as most on here, but thats cause we all have different creative eyes!

I think they are all excellent.
The first one is my favourite, but I would like it better if it was cropped to the base of the bridge,and the saturation just upped a little.
My personal preference of course.

Now, for the Cannon shot. I also could not crop this shot any differently to add more sky because there wasn't any more in the original. However, I found another shot that I had taken today that I was able to apply your recommendations to.

What do you think? I actually like both crops very much. I like this example as well as the original.
