He he he he... well the pink one is a lamp shade top - I think I may have grabbed it and then been given it to play with. The sombrero is a silly souvenir from somewhere or other.

I do LOVE hats as an adult so maybe this is where it all started.

Advanced bday greetings - I'll be away then so will say it now. Will you celebrate together?

My sister and I share the same birthday but were born 3 years (and 5 minutes) apart. She just turned 30, I was 33 - last week. Uugh! It's funny how, if I mention that my sister and I share a birthday, some people (naturally) assume we're twins, but when I explain that we're not, just can't get their heads around it - they can't understand how we could share a birthday and not be twins. The year being different never occurs to them!

This post is a great laugh. What were we thinking when we were kids!!!
BTW I turn 34 in over 2 weeks! Being a kid is a distant memory now.

edit: Found a new pic. I think I must have been 11 or 12.

Blimey - the first one makes it clear how much you actually still look the same... and the second one reminds me strongly of some of the adorable bug-eye Sam pictures. He looks a lot like you did, eh?
