Hi,
I'm as interested in feedback about the (shockwave required) viewer as I am in the photos themselves:
//mjm.dynamique.de/foto/phopan.html#
You can zoom (click&drag in/out) into the fotos (naturally some pixelation occurs). Ideally you could load a much larger picture that could allow zooming without pixelizing, but that's not really practical for internet usage just yet.
Would anyone find it useful in having such a tool to load your own panoramas into?
Thanks for any feedback!

What is that swf? something you wrote or is it commercial? Does it do spherical panorama's or mip mapping?
I would find it useful as something to play with -- esspecially if it did spherical panorams and allowed me to import fisheyes directly for rendering (mip'ing not really that important as the file sizes would be huge)
Sorry this is a little off topic.

I wrote it simply as a way of navigating & viewing panoramas or large images - it doesn't create the panoramas. I think there are already many excellent tools to do this. Thanks for responding! |
