How many people take their photos in the last +/-6 hours of the challenge? I just submitted mine for parts, and its one of the first times that its in before 6pm of the deadline night. and i know im not the only one, since you see the number of submissions shoot up at the last second...
just curious, because im sure a lot of ribbons are for last minute shots. |

| Some of the people who submit at at last minute could have been looking at their final image on the local machine for a few days. Shooting at the final minutes is a different story. |

I shoot last-minute ALL THE TIME. ;-)

| I can certainly understand why some dpc'rs submit close to closing time due to the complexity of their shots. The few I've entered are midway. I wonder though, how many quality shots are not voted on during challenges that have high submission rates, partciularily open ones like "parts"? Submissions are posted in the order recieved, correct? |

thats a good question... i hope there is no order to them. it would be much better if everytime you opened the page, a random order would appear. cuz if your pic is always after the ribon winner, then you might get voted down! =) or not... |

I think when you start voting, the images are selected at random. they are not sorted in anyway. Also this random selection is different for every voter, so your photo should not be placed after a given photo for every voter. |
