I'm kind of new to DSLR and lenses. With my P&S old camera, I cleaned the lens with my T-Shirt and seemed to work well. But with my new SLR lenses, I bought some special cleaning paper for my lenses. I used it with rubbing alcohol as recommended by the salesman. It did a very very poor job.
What made the best job so far is using a very soft and old towel (using the back of it) and just cleaning gently in circles after breathing on the glass. I read about microfiber cloth also.
What do you experienced people use?

Lenspen. With lens tissue and cleaning solution for stubborn spots.

If you haven't yet get a UV filter for each of your lenses.

Lenspen... Best 7 bucks (at Circuit City) I've spent on photography yet.

Those little clothes that you use to clean eye glasses and sun glasses are the best. UV filters are a must to remove the need to clean them at all. Use the closth to clean the filter and she's apples.
