I've got to set up the skateboard images for the sponsor and kids to see, would prefer to make it a bit more difficult for them to get images off that are good to print, but want the pics to look ok. This is the trial size........what do you think?
thanks

Hello Sue !
Nice photos !!! Could you please explain a bit more ... I mean which is the support you're going to use ? (Web or ...)
I have add a look at your trial size , how many photos are you going to show together ?
This could give us a clue to answer you . |

thanks Mambe :) There are 80-100 at least images to post....am going to need to spend today editing. I've got an online gallery here , and can add another section for events. Am not going to use photobucket cos they've changed the format there and the popups and ads are driving me nutz!! *lol* Not sure about the sig, first time I've added one.

the images i use on my website are 429px on the long side in a 1.5x1 ratio. i find them large enough, and small enough at the same time.
EDIT: though some feedback asked for larger images, i opted against it, because they are always available larger upon request, and i was trying to save on download time.
i also save a larger web version along with it -w 640px on the long side. this one is sharpened, and then resized down to the smaller dimensions, and saved again -w/o sharpening.

In this case , I think the trial size will be OK , if you have a favorite photo then you maybe could use a bigger size for this one.
I wish you all the best for the editing ! |

yeah thanks Soup and Mambe. I'm at the stage where I'm still a bit scared to ask for money for my work but starting to feel that what I'm doing is worth paying for if people want prints from it(gaining confidence thanks to what I'm learning here) I'm not really sure quite where to start, but said to the sponsor that I'd put some online, they wanted to have a look and get prints if they liked them.
