Can any one out there tell me how to , or even if it is possible to apply the same filter or adjustment to a folder full of pictures all at once, rather than one at a time ? This would be in PS7
Thanks in advance........Mike |

yeah, first record an action in the action pallete that does what you want then use the droplet command found under file>automate. (make sure to close and save your file in the action otherwise the droplet won't know to do this). save your droplet inside the same folder as your pictures. go to windows explorer, highlight your photos, then drag them onto the droplet. on tip: it would be a good idea to save the images into a different folder instead of writing over your origionals. hope this works out ok. if not, adobe has user forums and a fairly comprehensive online knowlege base. |

Record your steps through action (new action -name your action -, record - then do whatever editing steps you need to do up to save to web, then stop recording - there is a stop button in the action palette).
To apply recorded action to your files, hit file, then batch, then specify source folder and destination folder, override action open, override action save as, then hit ok.
ooops too slow. teknon has already answered it. sorry.

Thanks for the ideas, but does this allow filters as well ? If so I can't seem to find a way to use a filter only a tool. I will keep looking.
Thanks |

It should record whatever filters you apply. |
