Just a friendly reminder - if you are going to post a question in the forums, and especially if you are new, please take the time to check around to see if your question has already been answered. These forums contain a wealth of information and it would be a waste not to use them. Before you post, take a moment and consider the likelihood of your question having already been asked. If your question is something basic, there's a pretty good chance it's already been answered, and usually more than once. If you begin your post with "This has probably already been asked," then yes, it probably has! How do I post photos in the forum, how do I resize for the challenges, where should I sell my photos, where do I upload my prints for dpcprints...it's all in there!
There is a search box at the bottom of the front page and top and bottom of the forum pages. Many of the categories have "stickies" at the top, threads that contain important information that we've marked to stay at the top. There is a wonderful section of tutorials that answer a number of questions. And failing that, it's pretty easy to scan the first couple of pages in the category you're interested in.
This isn't to say that we won't or don't like to answer questions. We are all glad to help in any way we can. But please, take a minute or two to do a bit of research before you ask.
