Regardless of where you stand on the Iraq War, our troops need your support while they are there.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
PROJECT CAMELBAK

BOOST MORALE, SHOW THEM WE CARE

Thanks to you we made it to our goal of 1000 - but there are over 130,000 men and women serving in Iraq. Please continue to support Project Camelbak so that no one will be left unequipped.

PURPOSE:
The Parent Group for the 31st MEU intends to send camelbaks to our Military serving in the Middle East.

GOAL: To purchase a minimum of 1,000 camelbaks. Your donation of $35 will provide 1 Camelbak.(This is a special price - the retail value is about $70)

REASON: Camelbaks are water reservoirs that you wear on your back. It has a tube that extends to the front so one can drink from them. The weather in the Middle East varies from mild to cool winters with dry, hot cloudless summers to tropical and arid deserts. A camelback would ensure proper hydration while freeing their arms to maintain tactical readiness. A camelback is very useful and much needed equipment by our Military. It is not standard issue.

TIME LINE:It is our hope to have the camelbaks delivered in early December. They will be distributed as a Christmas gift from the American People.
