I shot my first wedding on the weekend and this is the first pic I took...
Any comments?

Looks like you did a good job. I'm sure the couple will be/is happy with the photos.

There was another photographer there, right? Cause in some of the pictures the people look as if they are looking at the camera, but you are not it. Or am I just dreaming?

Anyway, they are really nice. My favorites are Wed15 and Wed17
They are really beautiful!

A little suggestion: try to clone out the red confeti from the guy's face in Wed3 It makes him look a little bit weird :-)

Yes there were other people taking photos, but I really like the "candid" look of some of the pics...don't you think?

Thanks for the comments and compliments!

You definetly know how to capture inanimate objects [sp?]..those [what I call] 'filler' shots were really great.

The group shots indoors were dark so just some tweaking with the flash would help... personally I would choose to get a tighter composition for alot of the other shots - the background isn't adding anything, just sort of takes away.

She is a beautiful bride :-)
I love the confetti ..with all the weddings I've shot I've never once been to one where confetting or rice, etc was thrown :-(

Yes I do think.
Actually, that's a "disease" I suffer from just as well :-)
I think that somehow people look better when they look aside and not staring at the camera

You're right for the most part, but don't forget to get what my photography partner and I call 'the safe shot' which is the one shot every mother of the bride [and don't forget the aunts, uncles, etc etc] want ...the straight on Say Cheese shot. *ick*.
But they ALL ask for it. And the parents don't mind complaining if it's not there. Word to the wise.
