Greetings all!
I was able put my 20d to a decent initial test last weekend with a series of diverse shoots! I'm quite happy with the camera except for the glitchy problem I yelped about here.
I tested via a:
Ultra-high key (75 shots): tested look and feel of very high key and heavy tampering of the 20d manual custom color functions. (...with stassi)

Ultra-low key (25 shots): tested graininess with subtle lighting at iso 100 as well as tampering with the custom white balance (balance on something other than the color white). (...with azriel)

Bright Outdoor (53 shots): tested with the 20d's new custom black and white function and adjustments. (...with vivian)

Concert (303 shots): read above linky thread for info.

Macro (15 shots): macro is macro is macaroni. (...starring cletus with the poor poor false teeth)

All photos are as of yet uncropped/processed...except for the heavy duty 'save for web' shrinkification process...i do realize that the general 'quality' of the photos are low but only because i saved in the 'low' setting...(the worst affected was the lowkey of azriel)..really the actual size photos aren't so artifacty.
Hope some will enjoy...! :)

Those are some extraordinary shots, JE. You're right, the low-key shot was seriously affected by web preparation, but the high key ones came out really great. My favorite, though, is the concert shot. Do you happen to know which lens you used and the camera settings for that shot?

Great work!

Absolutely superb shots - I'd love to know how you achieved the shots of Stassi. I'm a sucker for highkey and still learning the effect. Congrats, even though they are just "test" shots.

Wow, love those shots.

I particularly like the first one of Stassi, and would also love to know how you achieved that.

And I really love the one of Vyvi, is it just beautiful.

It must suck. Looks like it cant meter. The first two shots are way over exposed. Just kidding. They look amazing. Nice work. Cant wait to get mine.
