Shit.. I cant really compete with that. hsteg what are you getting if you sell it? My heart is set on a 828; I feel like a fool for buying the 717 right before the 828 came out :(

A funny thing. I wanted the 717 so badly but when I read the 828 review I flipped and decided to wait. This was back in Sept. Both of these are good caneras but the 828 with the superior optics improvements...the zoom ratio plus the 8 mp.
Well, I couldn't wait and so I went for the Minolta before jumping to the 10D. I still think about the 828 with great affection. I love the swivel lens. |

Yes, the swivel lense is a fantastic feature. Im quite suprizeed Sony is the only cam doing that. Its a main reason I want an 828 and not a Cannon. |
