I would like to invite you to visit our web site, //www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com. This site is currently the only site written by a professional camera repairman on the subject of cleaning the sensors in digital SLR Cameras. As a matter of fact, this is written by the camera repair industries̢۪ most published author Larry Lyells.

This site discusses the methods used in-house by all manufacturers, versus what they want the consumer using. Also covered is how to make your own tools and multiple resources to obtain others. I could go on and on about the site but a visit to //www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com will show you everything.

Great site. This is just how i cleaned my sensor for the 1st time about 2 weeks ago. Very easy to do with eclipse, pec pads and sensor swipe. I took 4 goes to get all the crap off. Being gentle for the first couple of goes then really going for it as i had a stubborn bit. As long as you follow the instructions you can`t go wrong. It`s not the sensor that your cleaning really just the filter in front of it. EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY.

The site Curt supplied above said not to use PEC PADS...although a lot of people seem to be using them. No problems? I'm happy to hear you think it was so easy. I've been freaky out about it and have been putting it off for months...but now the dust bunnies almost outnumber the pixels...and that's just not good! :-)

We say not to use Pec*Pads only as a warning from their manufacturer. Pec*Pads with a tool like our SenorWand work great, you can even make your own tool to wrap the Pec*Pad as we show you how to do it.

Don't forget to configure your web server to handle (i.e. accept) a trailing dot (".") in the host part of your URI. Technically, it's showing up in your post because of a parse error on the DPC end, but it's still valid URI syntax.
