I was just voting on the complexity challenge, and it struck me that we have two types of member here.

There are the 'Literal' capture something complex members. Who went out to find something complex and then grapped it with the camera. These submissions have very little additional effort in terms of lighting, composition, effects, they are straight in camera captures of objects.

Then there are those who have made the next step. They have found complex objects, or even complex ideas, and have used the camera as a way of making a piece of artwork. There may be added reflections, water droplets, additional lighting, an unusual viewpoint. These are the ones with that added 'magic', the ones which grab you eye for more than a few seconds.

I know its not always easy to make the effort, but to add your own interpretation id not too much to ask. Use the challenge to push yourself just a little further each time.
