I finally got around to posting it.

In the hope challenge I had entered this:



I got alot of comments about it being too soft.
Some didn't think it met the chllenge, oh well.
Here is a sharpened version:



And here is a version that is sharper and i played with it a little more:



What do you think. any better?

I have to agree with Heida. The sharpening applied has brought out the detail without making the image appear oversharpened.

If you were looking for a soft focus look then maybe try applying a filter to it now that it's been sharpened. Maybe difuse glow or something similar.

Not going for soft focus look. I just wanted it soft. Don't know why.
It was really sharp and then I did blur it. Still not sure why. Plus before I entered it, it looked fine and sharper in ps. It still looked sharper in ps when I brought it back to sharpen it some more. Oh well. Live and learn.
