If I see one more snail............ I'll scream. I'm putting this here and I'm sure people will come and complain because I'm making comments about certain items in shots during a challenge but ever since a snail took a couple of ribbons people are finding all kinds of ways on including them in the challenges. Between the snails and the frogs................ AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
THank you, I feel better now.
Deannda
They are NOT that cute!
Edit for spelling

Some are. Just like a fly is quite gross unless of course it's in an image of amazing composition, lighting etc.
Obviously the snail pictures have a lot of impact (not WOW), for you...;oD
Colette
PS. Slugs are much worse.

It amazes me when nature's beauty is not appreciated.

It amazes *me* when people post demeaning inuendo.
Not liking snails or any one, two, three, four, of nature's critters doesn't mean that one does not appreciate nature at all.
It's like saying not having read Tolstoy makes you illiterate.
*now where did I put my soapbox???* |

Well Lori, it was not meant as an inuendo at all!
I in no way painted anyone as not liking nature in general, just one, slow moving part of it.
Signed,
Illiterate

"Demeaning innuendo" sounds like an italian suppository with insults on the box.
Oh yeah, its dostoyevsky- if you haven't read him, your illiterate. |

Banana slugs have as much protein and no messy shell to dispose of. You could even use a hot dog bun and just tell folks you like a LOT of mustard ... |

Like escargot, they are best first sauteed in lots of garlic butter.
I probably wouldn't put yellow mustard on it ... that's just a cover story to throw people off the scent (yes, the puns are intentional, sigh...). |
