From the TD Waterhouse Center (or O-rena if you're old school like me) in Orlando, Florida. Kerry and Edwards try to get more votes by asking their supporters to talk to their friends, family and neigbors.
Just your basic rally. Hours of waiting followed by 10 minutes of edwards and 30 for Kerry. Nearly got kicked out of my spot by this mean CBS video guy... but I held my ground!! :)
I shot about a 1000 shots... I spent half the time holding the shutter, the other half waiting for the buffer to clear. I now see why one would really, really want a 1d mk II.

Outstanding. The focus on them is quite spot on no matter how 'busy' the photographs are.

The first one is outstanding !!! The one I'd probably see on a huge publicity ad !!!
I also love the last two. The focus and the pose and the blury crowd made me hear the sounds and see it right infront of me!
The ones in the middle didn't make me feel anything so I just skipped over them and got to the "main event of the evening" !
Wonderful shots !!

fantastic images. very well done! (and this is coming from a guy who doesn't like the subjects... )
your clarity and detail is perfect. Although I like the tight isolated shots of ther candidates, the two wide views you have are equally compelling.
congrats on excellent photojournalism!
