Should I go colour or B&W??
Colour
B&W
Forgive me if they are too bright or dark for most people, I have a shit old monitor that can't even get close to replicating colours. |

I really like the color. It makes the lights and guitar stand out a little more than in the black and white. The color adds stage presence to that photo.

| B&W... most definetly. The color version lacks a bit of richness in the colors whereas the b&w version has some really good contrasts to it. Just my opinion though. Nice shot. :-) |

I agree with you on the colour of the guitar, and the general 'bottom half' of the image in the colour.
But I like the top half of the B&W for the contrast.

I'm with Jen, the b/w is the way to go with this one. The b/w has a more tougher "musical" feeling about it, given the surroundings and the musician's appearance it enhances the mood of the shot.

| Maybe you could try the "best of both worlds" with a duotone; it can add depth, and help set the mood/tone without being distractingly colorful. |

I've been playing around with prints, and on a postcard size, the black+white is great.
but then i thought... this looks a bit boring. So I amped up the contrast. If it doesn't look too good on screen, I apologise, cause in print, it has guts and a story to tell. (can you tell... i'm happy with the result.)
