I got this shot and when I looked at it at home i found some blur on the wings.
I took this at 1/640 secs and didn't expect any motion blur, but then I didn't enter this as people might vote it down for motion blur. Need suggestions about this photo and how would you rate it. |

I think it is a great shot.
The blur looks like out of focus due to shallow DOF. Eye is sharp.
Composition is great.
I would have probbly given it a 6 or 7 as it is a good photo, but missing the WOW. Also there are very many similar shots |

yeah i think it is as much dof as motion blur. Good choice though, in not entering it, if you a worried about getting voted down for a little blur. Mine is :)

| thanks for your comments. I think I made the right choice of not entering this shot. the entry that I did is currently just holding 6.0 and I am happy with this score. |

I had 4 outtakes. here they are.
note: my final version is doing OK, I'm at my average score, which is good to me. I'm trying to stay above my average. These photos do not look anything like my submitted photo. But in hindsite, maybe I should have chosen a different photo for submition.
