This weekend all over the south of the Netherlands, Memorial Services are held to commemorate Operation Market Garden. In Eindhoven, as part of the service, they had an old 1944-built B-25 bomber flying 'eights' around the city center yesterday evening. My house was just under one of the turns, so the plane passed over at least two dozen times (what a noise!). I managed to get this picture, which isn't very clear but you can still recognize the plane.
[Edited to correct the number: it's a B-25, not a B-52, sorry]
[Second edit: is it possible to change the title of this thread, to prevent further confusion?]

| Could maybe be a B25 Mitchell which might explain the numbering confusion (reversed digits). |

No question about it. It is a B25 "Mitchell Bomber". The B26 was a single tail/rudder aircraft while this one is a twin tail.

Indeed. B25. Were that a B52, you'd need a fisheye ;)
