 It's a beautiful shot of a lovely child. The focus and expression are great. I think selectively desaturating the background might bring out the subject even more...

		| | I think the picture is excellent, a shallower DOF would improve it a little, some may say crop a little tighter but that is just personal preference, I like it the way it is, good job,

		| | The lighting is great, so that helps for the richful colours. I personnally prefer very large Aperture (2.8ish) so that the background feels more blurry, giving the suject more attention. Like Peecee said, i would perharps have prefered a tighter crop, mostly around the visage, but keeping an angle with some background, as it gives a sens of depth with the suject.
