Just a thought, I carry a spare battery with me at all times, do users of the grip carry 2 spare batteries? or 1 spare battery then remove the grip if the batteries die? will the grip work if one battery goes?how/when do you recharge?

Lots of Q's but whilst I understand you don't need to discharge the batteries I'm pretty sure there is a 'life' for rechargable batteries and was wondering if by doubling up the battery power and following my usual recharge before outdoor shooting method I would actually reduce each batteries life by 50%??

The grip will work with only one battery.

I have two in my grip, and two spare ones. You never know.
