I noticed that under my challenge entries there is a counter for "wish list". What does this mean?

That's how many people want to buy a print of your photo from DPCPrints :)

I'm looking at the home page - left side were my entries are:

Wish Lists: 1

This is your wishlist. It shows prints that you've added to your wishlist so that if you can't afford them at the time you see them, you can come back later and find them again easily.
During voting, people can add a photo to their wishlist, and if the photographer then uploads a print file of that photo, the print will appear on the users wishlist page.

When I'm browsing DPCPrints, I can never find a link for my wishlist. Perhaps that should be added to the menu bar, or 'my account' options. (if it's not already.. if it is there it's not very easy to find)

The link to your wish list is on the home page of DPCPrints though having it in My Account might make more sense.
