These are the first few edited photos from the retreat I went on last weekend with my college honors program (it's an academic minor). I took 366 photos (that I uploaded) but that doesn't count the hundress deleted because of mess-ups. ^_^ I'm SOOOO glad I kept my 1 GB memory card!

*coughs*

Anyway, I'd love any feedback you can give. I have some more shots that I'll be uploading eventually (mainly landscapes and still life), but these were some of my favorites.

I like the middle of the girl quite a bit - the way her arms are positioned, tilt of her head, expression. All make for an interesting composition :-)

The dog's expression is priceless. To remove distracting elements from the background you could crop close to the table legs on both sides. This would also put more emphasis on the dog's face.
