Anyone else spanked with these bastards. They are spyware on steroids. VB actually tries to look like spyware removal software, while loading your computer up with everything it can find. Begin2search trys to look like a friendly helpful search engine while spying on you. Spybot and adware are helpless to these guys.
I think I'm free and clear from them now. This crap should be considered the same as a virus and the owners/creators should be thrown in jail.

How did they get installed on your computer in the first place?

I have not hear of them, but thanks for the heads up.
Just another reason I limit my web browsing/downloads

They install them self and they don't ask permission. I'm smart enough not to open emails or give permission for sites to install things, and I wasn't even on a questionable site!
I beleive Virtual Bouncer is the start, then it starts installing everything under the sun. I had to hard shutdown the computer because things were installing so fast and I was helpless to stop. I ran adware and spybot and caught about 300 things. It added a whole directory of crap to my favorites and installed addestroyer, which is a fake spyware removal tool that actually does the opposite, and begin2search. About an hour of research and an hour of cleaning up, and I'm back to normal. FYI "Hijack this" is great.

| What web browser are you using? That's the main reason I don't use IE. You can get hijacked just from a pop up window. The new version under SP2 might be better, but I'm still sticking with Firefox. |
