July 3rd makes sense...us Canadians can't miss Canada Day so it'll have to be after the 1st, so we don't miss the beer, flags and fireworks.

But I don't think there's much going on in North America after July 3rd...

;-)

Hey Drake, I used to live in Tulsa, and I did a few trips from Tulsa to Iceland, it is most likely around $650 unless there is a special going on. You will need two stopovers and this is around 18 hrs trip.

If any wealthy photographer would like to fund my trip, I would be forever greatful! I really want to go!!!! I just can't afford it. I am supporting my husband while he's in school til 2008.

All right, tentative schedule: Jul 3, 2005 to July 10th. I`ll be in Reykjavik earlier June 26 for a few days for a conference. Let`s have a roll call here, who`s definitely in?
10/01/2004 09:23:06 AM · #95
so who can reconfirm 100% that they will come?

I am 100% in.

Woah, how did I miss this thread all this time? I'm definitely interested in a trip to Iceland, and a DPC GTG would make it even more appealing - count me in! :o)

Can someone from Iceland confirm how much spending money I would need for this? Who's organising it now? Are we camping? I need to know this stuff before I can definitely commit! Money is tight, but this would be one amazing trip with so many great photographers.
