		| | Have just started going through today's pics of the North Norfolk Wildlife park and came across this. I knew Judges where often called 'The beak' and was wondering if this might be the reason??
btw, this was taken just before he was let loose for a display, the trainer got him to stand on my head after making him swoop no more than a foot from me (I was picked on cos of my white lens ;)

		| | Nice Photo! I don't really have any critique other than the lighting in the eye area. Very interesting shot. Is this like a vulture or what? I'd be interested in seeing the rest of the bird :o)

		| | Thanks for the comments :) Dana, this is the best shot of the whole bird, the next was of a pair of talons preparing to land on my head! (I must say though, the trainer had his hand on my head and wore rather thick gloves).

Edited to say, its a Vulture but only a small one.

		| | may as well add the final shot oh, and the trainer bet I'd duck when this happened but I didn't (truth be told I was frozen with fear lol).
