I snuck my moms camera out of the house when I was about 4 or 5 and took a picture of my NEW BIG WHEEL...(it was the best) red, blue and yellow. That was my first pic I can remember. But seriously trying since I picked up my D70 in June this year....

Man! do I miss that Big Wheel........

A little over 4 years now.. although only really "seriously" since I got my Pentax 35mm SLR in early 2001.. I've got a lot of absolutely fabulous film shots (many of which I've scanned and stuff, but my website never seems to be up anymore.. I'm supposed to be working on it.LOL). Anyway, now I have the prosumer digital after almost 3 years worth of the HP photosmart 315.. and I'm really going to start putting an effort into better digital photography, instead of just fun snapshotting everywhere.. (although I won't stop *that* either!)

Since 1974. I took a college photography course and was hooked when we started learning the darkroom. I did a few weddings and portraits back then but I didn't go that direction with a career. I instead did hair for 20 years. After retiring from it I got a Sony 505V and was back to being hooked. I bought a Canon 10D when they first came out and have started working towards a part time career in photography. I love shooting kids. ;)
