Okay so I've been teaching English in China for about 3 months now which has been a totally amazing experience and have been taking as many photos as I can in the little free time I have. Needless to say, Chinese internet doesn't really like American sites sometimes so it has taken some work to get most of the keeper photos on my site. I'd like to share them as I'm sure some must be curious as to what I've been doing the last three months and not spending all day arguing about American politics here :). So here is what's been going on:

My cousin from Canada taught English in China last year. She said that it was an amazing experience. My parents are going back next week.
Snapshots that are not snapshots because of the great depth of field. Love all the b/w's. Really like the way you included a landmark with each portrait. Amazing stuff and awaiting more :)
Kind of wish I had a decent camera when I went overseas to China and Japan a couple of years ago:(

Very good shots. And I like the way you have your website set up. I hope you are not going to stay over there forever. I miss your fuller participation here at dpc. |

Excellent collection... but I think you could convince me to look at more photographs on your website if the categories were easier to navigate. If you split the categories by type of photo rather than place, it would make more sense as I browsed through them. |

I think he's just sharing his pics from a tourist stand point and not a chinese macros, chinese landscape, animals, etc. I like the format used a lot more than just categories.

jacko's right, it's mostly a result of people being able to associate a picture with a place although i agree it is quite haphazard even in the order it's in...that's just the nature of chinese internet...it was hard enough just to get them uploaded...took several days to complete |
