With Hurricane Francis coming through as a tropical storm here I was unable to participate in the Backlighting Challenge because of power outage and bad weather and winds. The day after I was able to shot this photo through broken off limbs and fallen trees at sunset. I would like some input on this photo, would it of meet the challenge, comments please.

I think it's a nice shot; I don't think it would have done well in backlighting though, because the foreground is so dark, and there's the phrase about not making a sillouette of the foreground.

If I might make a suggestion, how about something like this crop instead:

Both are nice. I think the first one would have done very well!

for the record they are straight out of the camera - have not done anything except little crop on the tomato picture. they would look beter if I would work on them a bit.
