Has anyone tried ordering a book from iPhoto? What kind of quality did you receive? How were the prints? The binding? Did you feel it was well priced?

I'm considering putting together a few as Christmas gifts.

I haven't used iPhoto but I have used //www.mypublisher.com and been very happy with the results, not to mention the speed with which they are printed and delivered.

I ordered a wedding album for my mother through iPhoto, and I saw it only briefly. The book itself was high quality and the binding seemed solid, but the photos were a little soft and washed out (as expected for offset printing). Overall, I thought it was a good value.

I had one made for my sister last christmas, had photos of my nephew. The binding was very high quality and the photos were very good both in terms of colour and sharpness. I did not have the problem mentioned by shannon.

I wouldn't say it was a problem- just the expected difference between a glossy photo and an offset print.

I too have had one made, I was very happy with it. I think it is pretty classy actually. I was happy with the quality. I think it makes a really awesome gift. And am in the works to do several more.

the book I did was for a friend of mine with 5 kids, I took pix of them for a good year every time I saw them and then assembled and gave to her. : )
